You don't know me that well but I'm 17 and soon will be 18.
I was raised in Harlem and in New Jersey. I moved backed to Harlem my freshman
year. TMA wasn't my first option to go to but I'm here and I'm glad I'm almost
done. I've seen a lot of different personalities around the way. Because of the
different personalities I've witnessed I am very humble. If its not my family or
close friends, I don't really entertain or talk to anyone else. I feel everyone
should be talked to on an intellectual level but some people don’t understand
that so keeping distance from certain beings is the best thing to do in my
eyes. It was one point I was too nice to a lot of people and i ended up getting
took advantage of. Don't get me wrong I'm still nice to a lot of people but my
tolerance level is real low because I don't have time to deal with people that
i know will waste my time. In this generation you have to deal with a lot of
ignorance and more. In life you honestly not going to know or continue to know
the people that you went to high school with. After graduation you'll most
likely keep in touch with two or three friends and that's all you need. By the
time I get to college I know I’ll meet new people. Some might even be more
compatible to me then my close friends.
