Ms.Tomlin

   Theres so much requirements that other teachers ask for like Ms.Tomlin. In order for us to pass the class we need to follow the requirements she ask for. Yes I admit it is challenging but its very "doable". All she asks for is to get to class on time and do all assignments and projects and just have consistency. Yes, sometimes its hard to get to class on time but its just something you have to get use to so your grade dont look as bad. Eith the wirk she gives us just hand in on time and youll be fine. With the projects she asks for its a different story. When you do the projects you must follow it exactly how she wants it done or its going to be a little problem with your grade. It may seem easy but it really takes hard work and dedication.

Music

     Music is one of the most creative things made in the world. Everybody likes their own type of music. Some music that Americans listen to is Hip Hip, R&B, Country etc. In other countries, they listen to their own music that they can relate to. Some music can make you sad or can even put a smile on your face. I know when my favorite song comes on I sing along every time. Everybody got that one song they just start singing to because they can relate to it. Now other songs can make you dance if the beat and lyrics is right like Reggae music. At parties thats what mostly being played especially in urban places like Harlem. When you going through something with your "boyfriend/girlfriend" and that song that reminds you of them makes you wanna get in your feelings. People make music just to connect to one another. It get people into this stage where you start thinking about a lot or just want to sing and dance along. If there was no music in this world I don't know what ill do because i love music and I'm pretty sure everybody loves music as well.

Comedy

 Comedy. Comedy to me basically just means corny jokes or just random thoughts thats funny. Some people don't have to be hilarious to make me laugh. Everyone has a little sense of humor in them. My classmate Taylor is funny in her own way. When she speaks on something she is serious but it sounds funny and makes the class laugh. Doesn't matter if your popular or not in my class everyone laugh at each other sometimes. Some teachers are even funny to with their sarcastic remarks. My mentor Ms.Young is funny because shes sweet but if you don't do what she ask or if you being disrespectful she'll black on you. Comedy could be mean or could even be good. My best friend Raldo is so funny. He have a slick remark to any and everything. Most of the time he says jokes or comebacks just to be funny. But even when someone rubs him the wrong way his slick remarks is still funny the fact that hes serious. I love humor so I like to surround myself with corny, silly, laid-back people.

The Other Day In Class

The other day in class was okay. We had to work in a group for our class assignment and it was alright. Its hard to work in a group with a loud class room but we pulled it off. The book we have to read is really interesting. Its a lot of figurative language that makes the book confusing a little bit.  The five minute assignment that we also had to do in class was kind of difficult because you expected us to write for the the whole five minutes. Its nothing wrong with that but the type of questions that was being asked was not worth the whole five minutes that you required us to do.

You don't know me that well but I'm 17 and soon will be 18. I was raised in Harlem and in New Jersey. I moved backed to Harlem my freshman year. TMA wasn't my first option to go to but I'm here and I'm glad I'm almost done. I've seen a lot of different personalities around the way. Because of the different personalities I've witnessed I am very humble. If its not my family or close friends, I don't really entertain or talk to anyone else. I feel everyone should be talked to on an intellectual level but some people don’t understand that so keeping distance from certain beings is the best thing to do in my eyes. It was one point I was too nice to a lot of people and i ended up getting took advantage of. Don't get me wrong I'm still nice to a lot of people but my tolerance level is real low because I don't have time to deal with people that i know will waste my time. In this generation you have to deal with a lot of ignorance and more. In life you honestly not going to know or continue to know the people that you went to high school with. After graduation you'll most likely keep in touch with two or three friends and that's all you need. By the time I get to college I know I’ll meet new people. Some might even be more compatible to me then my close friends.
